Insiders say Clinton is out in the cold.

Hillary Clinton will not be on the Democrat ticket with Obama in November according to the insiders.
The list of potential candidates includes Senators Evan Bayh of Indiana and Joseph Biden Jr. of Delaware, as well as Governor Tim Kaine of Virginia, and other names of varying degrees of plausibility. The Democratic convention begins Aug. 25 in Denver, and Obama was said to be considering an announcement the week before, although aides said it could be earlier.

The arguments for picking Clinton have always been highly pragmatic, based more on electoral politics than anything else, as McAuliffe suggested in pointing to the vote-getting power she had exhibited. (For what it is worth, some of McCain's advisers said they viewed Clinton as the single strongest candidate Obama could pick for those same reasons.)

It will be interesting to see who he actually picks. I heard on one t.v. station they think it will be the Govenor of Virginia but who knows??? Guess we all will eventually.

I have lost all my energy about the campaign - I really don't care anymore - Ole' Skip was in shock that he couldn't get a rise out of me about politics last weekend.
