Learning

The only bright spot in my yard yesterday was along the fence where weeds are going great guns and the zinnias were putting on new blooms. No rain yesterday but the day was damp and gloomy.
I got 8 eggs again yesterday. no setting hens in the hen house.
Fleta had red heads at her place this week but now they are gone and I think she will be glad for the calm days.
The chickens are yelling FEED US! must go.
I learned something this morning in my links on the side bar if I click on the title of a post I only see that post and don't have to wait for all of the page to load which can be slow if there are several posts on the page.I have dial up and things travel at horse and buggy speed on my computer If I click on the title of a post I also get the comments at the bottom of that page and can comment with out pulling up the comment page. SPEED SPEED!
Now if for some reason I wish to view the full page I click on the blog name and all the posts load on the page.

Those Zinnias are beautiful. Save us some seeds. I ordered seed catalogs for my garden for next year. I am thinking about ordering heritage tomatoe seeds because my tomatoes were tough this year. There is a place in Norfork that sells heritage seeds and they say their tomatoes have soft skins. All the tomatoes you get from the nurseries are bread for shipping and have thick, tough skins. Even homegrown tomatoes do not taste like tomatoes anymore.

Your flowers are always so pretty. Great discovery about the blogs. I did not know that. Patsy, I can't believe it has rained here today for the first time in 2 months! I feel like getting on my knees and saying a thank you prayer. It has just drizzled all day. Not really enough to help but better than nothing. Hopefully, it will continue tomorrow. Have a good weekend.
