I have had sage growing in my yard for 10 years and in the cold months I use it when I cook chicken no other plant except onion adds more flavor to food on a cold winter day. The blooms are very pretty also.
The temperature is 64 degrees here this morning as the sun breaks on our world. I am getting 8 eggs a day and they are accumulating fast in my fridge. I sent several home with my son Saturday when he came by to take me to the library.
I got some good books this trip and my days are filled with murder and mayhem.

Enjoy your reading Patsy. Do you ever make pound cakes. You can use a lot of eggs that way! I love to cook with sage also. I put it on chicken and in soups.
I love the blooms of herbs. Sage is particulary pretty.
I'm enjoying your blog. Please drop by mine sometime.
I love sage. I grow it and burn it to cleanse the spirit and sooth the soul.
