A Body, A Trap, and A Truck!

my life and times I have friend who has a friend whose family lived in central Kansas. There was little work in the community one winter so this fellow decides he will go to Kansas city Mo.. To seek work, His father was old and the son took daddy along. The only transportation they had was this old flat bed truck. They get to city and the son finds work everything was going pretty good until one cold January day the father died. The son calls his sister in Kansas and tells her Daddy is dead. He also says Dad wanted to be buried beside mom.
The daughter talks to the local funeral home and they explain that the son will have to get a funeral home in Mo. To embalm the father and transport him to Kansas, this is going to cost about 1200 dollars. Sister calls brother and tells him what he has to do. He says ok.The son goes to Ace hardware and buys one tarp and 50 foot of rope. He goes home and rolls daddy in the tarp and carries him and ties him on the back of the truck! The temperature is 10 degrees. He gets in the truck and a top speed which is about 45 miles an hour points his truck towards Kansas. Meanwhile the sister keeps trying to call brother to get information on the arrangements. Phone ring and rings. No answer! At 3o’clock in the morning the sister hears someone knocking at her door. She turns on the porch light and there is Brother sheavering in the cold. She opens the door and brother says “I brought daddy home. The daughter ask” where is he?” the good son says on the back of the truck. They had a funeral the next day
