Going to wal-mart

I never told this story so I guess its time for me to tell on myself.I worked at Tyson Foods for years on the night shift and my daughter worked day shift. One day I got off work on Friday night and went home. I had one of those night when my brain was clicking and couldn't go to sleep. The next morning at 5 I began to relax and feel sleepy. Daughter always awoke early because that is her way. We had planed going to wal-mart to do our shopping. Janet gets up and says lets go to wal-mart and beat the Saturday rush. I said ok, let me dress. I wore my blue dress and white sandals and carried my red purse. We get there and my brain was in a fog because of no sleep, nature called and I had to find the rest room. The way wal-mart is set up, you go down a hall and the men room on one side and ladies on the other. I go in to a stall and set my red purse on the floor and proceed with what I came in, for someone came in and went in the stall next to me. My red purse is setting right where a person could reach out and grab it from the next stall .I move my bag because it contained all my worldly goods. I noticed that the lady didn't stay long but thought nothing about it. When I came out I washed my hands and turned to leave, the cold water had brought me back to life. As I turned my brain flashed ALERT. There were white thing mounted on the wall about waist high and a man was standing with his back to me. He turned his head to look at me. Oh My Gosh I am in the men's room! I exit at top speed and rush to the other end of the store where I stayed behind the trees in the garden department my daughter found me there 30 minutes later. She says WHAT ARE YOU DOING? I whisper, hiding. She says WHY? I whisper there is a man in the store wearing a blue blazer and I am hiding from him. WHY? whisper never mind let's go home.

I bet your face was as red as your purse.

Patsy, I did the same thing once in Cleveland, Ohio. It was my first time in a public restroom north of the Mason-Dixon line, and I had never seen a urinal before. I thought those Yankee bathrooms were really strange.
