Stew
In the great state of Oklahoma I have read people catch rattle snakes and make belts out of the skin and eat the meat. I wonder if any one ever tried black snake stew.any one know? I am afraid of all snakes whether they have a poison bite or not uncle Floyd did, yes he did! catch black snakes and pop them like a whip. The head would come right off. If I was foolish enough to try that it would wrap around my neck and I would die on the spot from fright.

I don't want to try snake or snails or grasshoppers, but when
hungry, I guess we would eat anything!
It would probably be especially dangerous to whip a snake around your head if it just ate a rock!
Kind of like the roll-of-quarters-in-a-sock weapon.
Out of curiosity, if you see the snake, how will you catch it/kill it/get rid of it?
I have a shulve and a hoe setting right by the door ' hoe is a garden tool not something else. i will attack.
Many years ago my son had an Indian Rock Python as a pet and my younger son had little garter snakes.
