I have 9 new banties. My blue banty hatched her eggs and she has 9 new babies. I put them in the pen where I am going to place my new banties I get from the hatchery on may 17th.
I moved the heavy chickens back into the hen house except for the 4 I am going to give daughter in law of sister no. 1. I have 3 roosters in that pen so I must go out and kill 2 of them if Jackie doesn't get here soon to pick the rooster she wants I will make the choice for her.
There is a heavy rooster and a game rooster that has lost most of his feathers because the hens picked his feathers off when he was younger and they haven't grown back yet. I also have one black and gray rooster in there.
The game rooster made a fight at me when I went in to get the hens would like that but no. 1 daughter in law might be afraid of him so I suppose I will have to kill him If I have to make the choice I will leave the Rock rooster for The girl and get rid of the others. So long from chicken ridge.

Jackie does not want a ugly rooster with no feathers. They did not get anything done of the chicken pen this week end. Son slept all day Sat and worked on the tiller today. Maybe next weekend.
I am gathering her eggs tell her. 3 today.
