We got rain, we got hail, and we got winds. Boy I could hear the roar in the sky. It rained so hard, I think maybe we got at least 2 inches of rain. Truth be told we had a flood. I looked out and water was running across the yard like a creek.
Jackie O's chickens laid 2 eggs and mine laid seven. 5 large eggs and 2 banty eggs. I hope my little babies weathered the flood. The mother probably looked after them and they do have a roof over the pen.
My garden ran over the sides but I tend to plant seeds thick so probably be ok there. The tomato plants were on the porch an the hail did damage but I only want about 4 plants so probably be ok there also.
Truth be told I am very forunate and by the grace of God I didn't get blowed down into the holler.

the rain made for a nice days sleep.
I live in a brick house and I thought I was going to have to find a place to go. It blew so hard that I closed all my curtains because I was afraid that it was going to break my windows.
It is cooler here now ..but
we only had alittle rain!
i wonder if it was that noisy in harrison. i can't believe i didn't wake up. the electricity did go out. the last time the tornado siren's went off -- i had just laid down to go to bed. greg came in and told me i needed to get up and come in the hallway. i told him that i knew my fate and i'd just lay down to meet my maker -- thanks anyways.
