The Banties

The chickens are growing, we had rain night before last and I was worried that they might get wet, I had worked wraping the sides of the pen with old carpet to shut out the rain and wind. Worked just fine.
suppose to have dry air moving in to so may not rain until next Tuesday.
They will be 2 weeks old Monday so they will have more feathers to help them get by with all weather changes.
I have a hen that will hatch next Friday think I will put her in the pen with all the other babies. I don't think she will hurt the babies I have in there now.
I have another bantie hen who wants to set so I think I will set her next week end.
If the allotment Lady lived closer I would take her bantie and set her.
by the way, I don't name my chickens. I may refer to them by color but don't name them.
I may name one this year , I think I will pick out the Pick of the bunch and name it for my daughter and all other people I have known named JANET. Posted by Picasa

Patsy...remember Janet Gregg that
lived between us and Green Forest.
She was a year behind me in school.
She had an older sister named
Pendergraft or gras that I think might have been Clayton's girl friend at one time. You saying all Janets made me think of her.
