English birds in a frame of gold,steals my heart
and refresh my soul.
Steal the cabbage and run away
before lottie sees and saves the day.
pretty birds all aglow
wish I was near
to see you grow.

your appreciation for these birds is quite nice. I have to say I never thought I'd be interested in a blog about "chickens" but how you write about them is rather personal, it gives them a realness that I've never really looked at them with. Sometimes when you describe them playing its like me talking about how funny Captain and Gracie are...but yours are birds. i have to tell you though, you make chickens not so boring. Good for you!!
