Phone calls
Twice of late I have received phone calls about 8 o'clock, they both were for surveys. They say we are taking a survey for, blab, blab, blab, if you think blab push no. 1 if you think, blab push no. 8 and so forth. So I just set and hold the phone to see how long they will wait. I figure if they can bother me at 8 o'clock I can bother them right back. Had a call once from what sounded like a young girl wanted to know if I wanted a free week-end in Branson MO. I said no, she said , you don't have to be so hateful! I said boy I bet you get to be a big success as a phone person, CLICK. My sister fleta said when she gets these kind of calls she start talking to them about what ever like, george has gone to town and I am going tomorrow, could you bring a pound of butter when you come out.on and on like that until they hang up I guess they think they have a crazy person on the line, and they are right.

You're in rare form tonight, Patsy. This is really funny, and I'm still chuckling about the "stuffed bra" comment you put on my blog earlier this evening.
My husband blows a whistle down the line at them.
Seriously though, we used to get calls (from India!) every time we sat down to eat. Now we have joined a telephone preference service and the calls have completely stopped!
Iam going to try the
one about how are you
etc. asking silly
questions.
I don't think that will
work on those press 1 etc.
