Sweet sister 3 said I wont like my cochin bantams because of the feet getting dirty because of the feathers.
I have been researching on the net and know that I will have to trim the feathers from their rears so they can breed and I will just trim the feathers from the feet and legs at the same time.
What I read says the hens will lay 12 eggs and then set so I will like them because they will raise me a lot of babies. I have 3 cochin females and 1 rooster next spring I will raise a lot of cochin baby chicks.

when you trim the feathers they will return. Just like clipping the wings so they can't fly....won't they?
Just like mine. The feathers grow again.
