A sure sign that fall is near. The goldenrod weed is in bloom.In the fall of the year all the weed put on a final push to bloom and spreed their seeds.

They are weeds! We grow them here as flowers - I have a miniature variety.
I know that lots of people fear goldenrod because they have severe allergy symptoms when they are around it. I wonder if this is known to happen to people in GB?
I think it's the state flower of several states. Alabama used to be one of them but they changed it to the camellia.
