The people in Florida are getting the first of the Hurricane season in the next few hours. This is something else I would not want to be in. We have tornadoes and floods. I live on a hill so I don't worry about floods. I don't really worry about tornadoes either. If I was to get blown away I hope I am blown into eternity.

Granny Renfroe went to OK in 1933. that was in the depression times adn I know it was dry. She was at Ft. Cobb. She said the dust blew into the house through the walls. She vowed if she made it back to the Ozark Mts. she would never leave again...and she did not.

Today we had hailstones - just as Pat went to play English lawn bowls.
The bowling green was white with them.
Game cancelled - a lot of disappointed me. Still, I made a quick blackberry and apple crumble to compensate!
