Rhododendron,

 
 
The allotment lady in the U K saw the post about the golden rod weed and said that in her country this was a garden flower. This brings up a interesting point, in colonial day many people brought plant from their home land and in this country they grew at such a rate that they became a invasive plant in our country. This is probably the case with the golden rod weed.
I think there is nothing more beautiful than the rhododendron bush but the other day I saw a post that called it a weed. Under certain soil conditions and weather condition some plant grow and increase at such a rate that they run wild. Then they become a weed. Posted by Picasa

Rhododendrons are spectacular flowers, aren't they! The one I grew once reached as tall as the roofline of my house. That was too big, of course, but spectacular just the same.
