My sister posted pictures of her large rocks. Here is one that I used to make a rock garden. Posted by Picasa

Lawdy, lawdy! You are one strong cookie (or else that rock isn't really a rock).

You've posted so much and I'd love to make a comment on everyone of your posts. But, as you guessed, I am on vacation and I am using a library computer (when I can get on) to post to my blog. That's why I'm behind.

I think the Powell family is full of good looking people. And fearsome women, too. Your Aunt Tee sounds like a very inspiring woman indeed.

I love those old photos. Yes, I have noticed that new growth seems to know no fear about sprouting out of rocks or sand. It's always seemed a bit of miracle.

Your gardens are glorious. Now, if you feel too feeble to dig and weed and plant and water . . . now's the time to teach a young one in the neighborhood how to do it - you can be the sidewalk supervisor. Any teens in the neighborhood with a wanna-be green thumb?

I agree with Annie, you have lots of gardening information waiting to be passed on.

Great photo! I want to grow up to be just like you! ;) Your old gardens were sure lush and I bet you ate well on the goodies you grew. I can't grow anything like that here - too hot and dry. So I just settle for my little deck garden. Thanks for sharing so much - Carmon
