The last 6 years I worked at Tyson my job was cleaning the break room. My boss's name was Joe Wilson but at times Donna Russell who was personal manager would undertake to be our boss.
One Friday night I was cleaning the tables and looked up and here was Donna standing about 6 foot from me holding 3 buckets , 3 new sponge mops and a bottle of Mr. Clean.
now no way am I going to ask her any thing about these items but a friend of mine spoke up and said, What are you up to Donna?
She Said WE ARE GOING TO SCRUB THE BREAK ROOM WALLS.
We meaning me, Donna and my co-worker daisy. Daisy was the best hand I ever knew to get out of work. I knew and Donna knew daisy was not going to wash walls.
so that meant Donna and I were going to start washing walls and in about 30 minutes Donna would have business to take of in her office and Patsy would clean the wall . I have a lot of pain in my shoulders when I raise my arms above my head and I knew I was going to suffer pain over this.
I turned around went to the office to see my supervisor, Joe. He said whats wrong Patsy? I never looked for him unless something was wrong.
I said I am sick and I need to go home. He said Ok, I checked out and went out the office door and went home, laughing all the way.
When Saturday arrived and I knew daisy was up I called her and ask her if she washed the walls? She said no I hid. Did Donna wash walls? , yes daisy said she worked about 30 minutes and left.
They called cleanup in on Saturday and they washed walls. Clean up was happy ,they got over time for the work and I was happy that I didn't have to do the job.
Sometimes Donna reads my blog, encase she reads this I say, HI,Donna!

That's a funny story! I hope Donna reads it.

Patsy, no one can get away from you, you relentless one. I can't get away from you either - I'm drawn back again and again to read your clever wit!
