The president of our country is trying at this time to get our government to give him and the CIA permission to torture certain peoples that he feels are our enemies and he has taken this fight to the American people to try to get his way.
Can you not see that this is the very thing that we condemned Nazi Germany for during the world war 2?
If this man and his co-hertz are allowed to peruses this road how long will it be until they decide that you and your love one are his enemies and you will be subject to the tortuous treatment that he at this time wants to inflect on others.
We are living in dangerous times and we need to wake up before it is to late.

Amen, Patsy. You said it exactly. I'm horrified at what is happening to the U.S. at the hands of this administration. We're hated and distrusted throughout the world now. The special status we worked for a century to develop and have enjoyed for so many years, that status of being a country that does and wants to do good for humanity, has been lost in only four short years. I'm ashamed and sad abouto this. I wish I could do something big to change the direction but I can only do what one person can do which is to talk about this and vote for change. Thank you Patsy for talking about it too.
Good Grief!! Well doesn't that beat all..but yet Sadam is still alive...it aint right is it!!! Patsy, Danny just came in here to see what I was blogging about...I told him you cant stand GW, he said "That's my woman...a woman with a brain!" I cant beleive you are stealing my husband from me & never laid eyes on him!! LOL!!!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the coming election will change the Senate and House drastically - at the very least, make it harder for the Republicans to pas dangerous and harmful laws. Then, we can start working on the Presidential election.
