When Betty was 3 years old she had a small dog as a pet. My father had a Shepard dog that he was trying to train to set and lay down on command. Betty was watching the dog being put thro his paces. Daddy said lay down and the Shepard laid down.
Betty said "daddy my dog will lay down with out being told".

Old sister...I had forgotten that story, but it was true. My mutt dog would lay down without me even havin' to tell him too.
