Today has been gloomy, Sister has gone home and the sun has not shined all day. In fact it has rained most of the day. I ask my daughter what the forecast was for tomorrow and she said more rain.
I am not the kind of person who must have people around to keep me entertained but I had a very good time when sister was here and I think it is natural to feel a little sadness now that she has gone.
I tried to call Fleta and she wasn’t home, usually she can make me laugh. I suppose she had to take her grandchildren home.
The chickens are missing the sun and have been humped up just like I have been; I have 3 books to read but couldn’t even settle down to read either. On the plus side I didn’t have to think about house cleaning.

It rained here all last night and most of today - I just tried to picture myself with all you pretty smiles and sunshine yesterday. I only have 4 more days to this long term sub - and boy am I ready for a break.
Here's our laugh for the day - our grandson Sam went upstairs while his Mom was doing her school work - took out the blueberries, rubbed his hands together and made Blue's Clue's all over the wall leading downstairs - what that boy can get into never stops amazing all of us.
Aww, I know just how you feel. I cried last time my sister left here, which was just about a year ago.

patsy, take winnie's advice. get some blueberries, rub your hands together and go wild on your wall. think of it as 'art therapy.'
