My memorial

When I die I am going to be cremated. I want no stone, let wind carry my ashes away. I hope they will say she loved her children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren and she did her best for them. Posted by Picasa

I sincerely hope that you do not have any intention of 'going' for a very long time young lady!

I was going to be cremated but changed my mind.

I want to have my own little spot with a headstone, so that people who walk through grave yard can stop and read about me - so I will be part of history - as I do when I am out walking and exploring our ancient churches and grounds.

Do you know that I scattered my parents ashes from Point Lookout at SofO. It was their romantic place and a place where they returned so many times to renew - I thought it was a perfect spot - especially on a clear day when the bells play on campus.

I agree about cremation as the way to go (hah). But I think I might make plans for a little bench to be placed somewhere meaningful to me, a place where people can sit and look out and enjoy the world.
