WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Faced with fending off the backlash from the Mark Foley scandal, House Republicans took the offensive Friday, asking Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and other Democrats to testify about whether they engaged in partisan trickery by releasing Foley's messages weeks before the midterm elections.
Top GOP leaders -- including House Speaker Dennis Hastert, of Illinois, and Majority Leader John Boehner, of Ohio -- have accused the Democrats of knowing about Foley's correspondences with teen pages, and waiting to release them until it was politically advantageous.
I knew the Republicans would get around to blaming the Democrats for their mess. TATTLE TAIL, TATTLE TAIL, you told on our child molester!
I had read that Bush's head hauncho KARL ROVE was saying there was going to be a October surprise , I bet this wasn't what he had in mind.

I had heard this about the Republican heads, their saying that the Democrats had some responsibility for this mess. You can bet they're digging like crazy for something scandalous to pin on the Dems before the election. I think this kind of behavior speaks very very poorly about all of us - those who stir up the pots and those who listen too.

We are definately a mess in Congress. Just once, it would be nice to see these arrogant idiots take responsibility for their OWN actions. I detest pedophiles.
It's scary to think these people are in charge of our countries...doesn't matter where you're from, all politicians are idiots!

from the wolves of the field. The wolf will come in darkness and carry off a little lamb and then gut it in den where the pack will devour the flesh and blood drip from all the lips while those who knew of the danger to the lambs hid in the "Bush" to let the lambs be slaughtered.
The Blame falls on all of us....but where were their parents. I would cut off my leg before I would let one of my teenage kids go to Washington DC...the crime capital of the world....then know they were rubbing elbows with Politicians who have no moral values and you know they have none or we would not have elected them....if they can't shovel a large load of shit for the American people to buy we will not elect them....We want to believe things that are not true...politicians have shown us for years they have no morals and still we elect these people....Harry S Truman may have had Morals I am not sure...I believe Jimmy Carter did but we did not like him he did not lie to us enough....He did not tell us what we wanted to hear...Nixon did but then we found out he wanted to be out dictator.. Ford got a free pass but pardoned Nixon...talk about selling your soul to the Devil...Regan did but when we found out all of the Iran contra mess and He claimed to be asleep...We all know about Kennedy and Bill Clinton.......Bush # 1 sure had Barbara convinced he was the most wonderful man in the world but she must be blind or dumb....then we have Bush # 2 who many people believe as my good friend Rhea king does...."He's a good man and a good president but every time he opens his mouth he sounds stupid!"...Most of us know why he SOUNDS Stupid!
