I have found this blog of a family traveling across mexico and guatemale.This photo of her son is to get a photo of the women and their colorful dress. the boy is not happy about this. She said everybody along the way want to touch the boy's hair and he doesn't like the attention.

This is a great photo of life as it is experienced in the moment. I remember being a kid and feeling I had little say over what would be said about or done to me.

no they didn't kidnap him, they wanted a photo of the blond haired child.
Wow what a wonderful idea to do this...poor little guy, though! lol I can well imagine how fascinating they must find blond hair, considering their people are mostly dark haired:-)
