I really like the Japanese bantam. They have such short legs that appear to be all feet and body. I have 2 of this breed. One is black and the other is the black and white bird at the top of this photo. The sebright chick is the only one I have . She is very pretty. They come in black and white like mine and gold and white. I wish I had a flock of these birds.

What interesting birds! When I was very small, my father used to raise bantam roosters. So long ago, tho, that I don't remember much.
Now, those are some beautiful chickens, Patsy, especially the bottom one. Her feathers remind me of leaded glass.
very pretty little birds...I like them little myself...I have a fear of bigger birds...a chicken got after me when I was a little girl :-O
yesterday on my neighborhood slide show I dared not get too near the geese...I just zoomed in and that was still a good piece away...hehe!!
These birds have the most beautiful feathers I've ever seen on chickens.
The sebright chicken is just so beautiful, I really like her. I didn't know chickens could be so beautiful.
I really had no idea there were so many different kinds of chickens!! I'm really amazed at all their different markings and colours!
