Fleta's granddaughter

as you know if you read sister's site she is going to be a grandmother again so I am going to make the new baby a quilt. This is paper piecing. All you have to do is take pieces of paper and sew scraps of cloth on the paper. When you have enought to make the quilt simply sew the pieces together. easy. Posted by Picasa

What a great idea Patsy - so you just use any paper all the same size?

Then tear the paper off once you have machined it?

I think I could have a go at that.

Wow I didn't realize you could make a quilt that easily! I had lost hope that I would ever know how to quilt but this way I'm sure I can do it!! lol Can't wait to see the finished project!

That looks like fun, Patsy, and it looks doable for me too. I bet that new little baby and all the family will treasure your quilt.

Thanks for the lesson, Patsy. I've always thought making a quilt would be too difficult, but you've made it look like a manageable project.
