Fidel Castro and the American presidents

I watched the movie NIXON tonight I had seen it before but I watched again and I got to thinking about Castro and our presidents because much of this movie was about Castro and the polices that led to nixon's down fall.
I was a young girl when Castro took over as leader in Cuba. Soon after his triumph he came to Washington D.C. to talk to President Eisenhower. He tried to talk to the president for a week and then he went back to Cuba after Eisenhower refused to see him then Russia
gave him the aid that he wanted from our government so Cuba become a communist country. Every President after that had Castro as a throne in their side.
John Kennedy , Bobbie Kennedy who was not president but I believe he would have been if not for the shots in the kitchen on June 28, 1968. Johnson and followed by Nixon.
Castro is Ill I am told and is looking at his last days but he has out lived and out lasted all of these men.
There must be a lesson in there if we have the insight to see it.

I don't know what the lesson is in this but it's worth pondering.

I still can't believe how long Castro has lasted as the Cuban president...as you said, there is a lesson to be learned there indeed!! I had seen that movie a while back and thought it quite good.
