Gobbler cemetary.

we had a hard hunt for the grave we were looking for. We wanted Waldrop, Emma- but couldn't find any Waldrops. we saw lots of Phillips ,Webb's and Howard's. I told fleta i hated those names there was so many of them. As you know I am sure I get tired easily . when i got tired I would set on a tome stone. usually a Howard. We have searched grave yards many times and when looking for a old grave we know to look for the old tome stones so as we went in we were looking for old tome stones which we found but we could not find our EMMA.
I think that grave yard covers at least 3 acres and finely after walking for ever I started back to the gate and Fleta said let's go! I don't think her grave is marked and I want you to know when we got back to the gate we found a whole flock of WALDROPS. We found Emma on a flat stone almost buried in the grass and earth. so we did our job and we dropped by the carrollton cemetery to take a photo of the maples graves our great, great grand parent. i want you to know we never found them. we are both near blind when it comes to reading old moss covered tome stones.
We went back to green forest and Fleta bought me dinner at Jim's drive in.

I would have loved to tag a long with you two today and to have a meal at Jim's Drive Inn with you.
Oh, how great it would have been.
Many times I think I would love to live up there again and have you all to myself on a certain day of the week! I am sad.

Cemetery visiting is always an interesting activity, I think. There's so much history in one spot and one can dream and dream about lives known and unknown. It sounds like a fine outing.

Sounds like a fun day. I'm sure Emma's ancestors appreciate your efforts to locate her.

Oops! I meant to say "Emma's descendants." Her ancestors probably don't care one way or the other.
