new Horse

We have a new horse in the pasture, son bought her at a sale in Mo. last week. She will keep the grass ate down.
We had a very nice rain last night, I was worried that my nest that the Cochin hen is setting in might get blown over so was out at the start tying the nest down.
I had no blow overs. The incubator chickens hatch in 5 days I hope we get a large no. of babies.

But why not a goat? Aren't they the best for keeping the grass down?

I'm wondering if there are grandchildren who wanted a pony?
