Bloging is really great. I had commented that I wondered If Lucille Youngblood was still alive, she probably is 10 years older than I am. Then I said maybe Betty my blogger friend lives at Harrison might know. I read Obits from Harrison and never had seen Lucille's obit but i knew I might have missed it.
I ask Betty on her blog feeling rather stupid if she knew of Lucille Shipman but I got to thinking of Lucille and her mother and I was willing to take a chance to find out about a old dear friend who I had not seen since before she married.
This was Betty's answer in less than 2 hours.....patsy: Lucille is still alive, and, I think she either lives in a nursing home or with her son. I'm not sure. I've kind of lost track of her over the years. She didn't get out much, because she had terrible arthritis that affected her feet. She was in a lot of pain, and then, as she got older, the arthritis got better. Strange.
isn't It wonderful to be able to get a answer that you want so easy. I call Betty blogger my friend but I don't even know her name.
Betty's blog is called old dog new tricks and if you will click on the title ...WHAT A GREAT THING at the top of this post you can read her blog. she is a very smart woman unlike my self.

Why thank you, Patsy. I enjoy reading your blog, too. Chickens galore! Maybe we will meet one day - we don't live that far from each other, you know.
Oh Patsy, such a heart warming post...this is when you realize we do live in a small world!! I hear many stories of old friends finding each other through the internet, something we didn't have not that long ago!! xox
Patsy, Surely you joke! I don't think I know too many people who are as smart as you are. If you look at this site you'll find information about intelligence. Don't you think you stack up very nicely here, Smart Sister?
"The following definition is a composite from various authors. Intelligence is a combination of the ability to:
1. Learn. This includes all kinds of informal and formal learning via any combination of experience, education, and training.
2. Pose problems. This includes recognizing problem situations and transforming them into more clearly defined problems.
3. Solve problems. This includes solving problems, accomplishing tasks, fashioning products, and doing complex projects."
It's great that you were able to learn about your old friend. I hope you can enjoy a reunion soon.
I enjoyed reading about your childhood home too. The poison ivy sure looks healthy! Do you have poisonous snakes where you live?
According to Annie's definition, Sister is a whiz!
Well Pat I always knew you were a smart a**.... Guess which sister
