I have been working in the rain. First I think the cat goes to the back of the pen while the chicks are asleep under the light , which Sammy hung close to the back fence and reaches thro' and grabs a chick. I wired the pen that I had them to start to the back fence now he can't get any closer than 3 feet there. After that I went inside and wired the vinyl panel to the fence so he can't get his paws thro'. maybe I stop ed him.
The best I can tell I only have 7 Rhode Island reds left. I guess sister will have to take the other chicks i hatched. These 7 will probably be roosters.

Well Pat that looks like it is Arkansas rigged. You could have used duct take to tie it up with.
That should put paid to the cats antics
I'm assuming that if you didn't find much left of those little chicks that they made find snacks for the cat. Has that cat put on a lot of weight lately?
