Youngblood house.

This was Otis and Fannie youngblood's home when we lived at Denver. It is one of the few houses still standing and people living in it.
Richard and me would go over to their house and run back and forth on the porch. the boards were loose and it made a lot of noise when we did this. Fannie never said a word to us about this. she should have scolded us good. Only one time did she tell us to go home, she said Otis will be home soon and you children must go home. We did we knew not to mess with Otis.
They had one daughter. Her name was or is Lucille, she married Richard Shipman and they owned the Shipman jewelry At Harrison Ar. I wonder if she still lives? Maybe Betty at Harrison would know.

That looks like a very welcoming house. And I guess it did welcome you as a child. It was only Otis who wasn't welcoming.

Connecting by computer is so wonderful. I love to read your
blog, of all the ones I read, yours is my favorite. This is making me cry so I will hush. But all the time you tell us things about our lives that I did not know or had forgotten. Don't sell yourself short on smart...you are up there with the best of them. Others got more schooling than you...but you have more smarts than most folks. guess which sis?
