Today is aunt Betty's birthday. She was a lovely kind soul. Tomorrow is Betty Jeans, she is going to celebrate today. I guess Betty is like the kid at Christmas just can't wait. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BETTY.

I remember when Betty Lou and Chuck used to come to see Grandma they always came to our house to visit. Chuck, Betty Lou, and Daddy would sit in the yard for hours and talk. They had an old blue truck (Probably was a newer one back then) with a small camper on it and they came back in it several times. Next to Thelma she was the only Sister I really knew anything about.
Was your Betty named after this Betty?
I had a good day. Erin took me to Walmart and I picked a new outfit to wear. Shorts down to my knees to cover me up...and we went to eat at a Mennonite (spelling) Res.
that was good. i had strawberry pie...yum yum.
Now I am home andwill celebrate again tomorrow with my girls. teehee Ingrid is making me a cheese cake with lemon in it. Sounds very good!
Erin loved the quilt. She said it was very special and reminded her of Grandma...I am proud you made it for her.
