Patsy, I love this and agree with him. Sort of like those who say, I voted for Bush because he is against abortion...were they having one...did that affect them directly. The answer is no. Smoke screen. can't see the forest for the trees.

Patsy now you may not agree with this but an older friend of mine told me this once......"A democracy doesnt work when the people fail to be honest!" I think there is a lot of truth there & I think that is where our govermnet is at today. Our democracy doesnt work any more. Here is another thought.....I dont think folks ought to have the right to vote if they dont own property & pay their taxes. That is a big one to chew on but it might get our country back in some order.

If we have to own land and pay taxes we are back to the days of old...rich vs. poor! Just like Fleta's book about the Erie Canal, men got rich moving freight and a poor man drove the mule train that made the money!

I am glad no man can own my soul. Even the early Church tried to keep the Bible from us. It sets us free! But engages us to do right!
