On my links you see the coop. This is a site that people who love chickens can talk about problem, success and chicks in general.
This guy lives in Oklahoma and he posted that he was having trouble in his coop and thought it was a snake. over a period of days he has killed these fellows in his coop. George is a champion snake killer.

Dear Lord, I'd probably have heart failure to see a snake that size in my yard! In the 29 years I've been living at this house I've only seen a grass snake once.
I don't like ANY kind of snake!
Patsy, we eat as cheap as possible here also. We buy the Great Value coffee in the green can. ( decaf)
If I found snakes like those in my yard, I'd put my house on the market. Eeeeewwwwww.
Looks like those snakes could gulp down two or three chickens at a time.

I am going to leave about 8 will go by and see Richard on the way to your house. Fleta can just come out and see us on her lunch hour if she wants to ...if you don't do lunch I don't either.
