Home

I made it home and the doctor said I didn't have come back for2 weeks and he thinks my sore will be will by then.
I have to tell you we had a fight, me and doctor. he said I had been putting to much gauze in my wound and I said it was his fault because that was all I had and that was what the hospital told me to do.
I told him I had been every where around here looking for smaller gauze and couldn't find any.
He said I will make some calls and find it and you can go buy it!!!
He was gone for 20 minutes and came back and said you know no one sell that size gauze. he gave me enough to last a week and then he said stop using it. I said well you finally Jared loose and gave me something besides the infection you gave me when you cut on me in January.
needless to say he was glad I was going home.
My neighbor has every fowl you can imagine, chickens, geese , ducks, pigeons and also goats and sheep but look what he has now!

I see that you don't let the doctor get away with anything!! lol I do hope your sore is healed completely by the next time you have to see him.

Patsy, I'll bet your doctor loves having you as a patient. Anyone who can and will show their spunk is giving evidence of their good care.

I'm glad you are on the mend.

I am glad you are getting better. I got in seed ticks yesterday and used your bleach treatment on them.

Patsy: did you have MRSA (staph) sore? I am so sorry if that is what you had. MRSA has run rampant around here near epidemic levels.

Last year, I had three come up over about a 3-month period. I figured I picked it up at the gym (even though I wash my hands after working out). The doctor/surgeon had to cut them out cpmpletely. Each one felt like a fire on me. They are "mean" sores. I took an antibiotic each time (Bactrim) but finally had to go on a 3 month regimen of Clindamysin (a pill 2 times a day). I have not had another sore since, knock on wood. I also quit using hydogen peroxide on anything (it spreads it); washed all my clothes in hot water with alchohol added and used "Hibilclens" to bathe. My doctor also told me to take Vitamin C (1000 mg a day); all this worked! CHRIS
