the chickens are enjoying the frost hit foliage that I raked up for them. The two shaggy Hens are the only full blooded Old English game hens I have. My sister took all the oeg chicks I had. I have several pullets that are half oeg and they are laying of course they have black coloring. that was why sister didn't want them.

I got 7 eggs yesterday. Most of the old english I have are not pure...they are cross breeds. I have a few pure ones but maybe only a couple. I think my roosters are cross breeds too. I don't care though. I am looking forward to the rhode island reds.
You remind me Patsy that my plan for today is to rake leaves. I have a million or more waiting for me outside.
