Spring please hurry.
I am looking forward to spring. The tomato vines are just a memory and a pile of dead vegetation.
My flowers have gone the way of the warm southern wind. I went to gather marigold seed but they were not dry enough yet. I did gather the purple flower that was growing beside the house.
I am hopeful that by Christmas my wound will be gone and I can breath a sigh of relief.
I had a problem with the wound vac last night. I woke up to a loud screaming sound from the machine and I knew it was not right. When I sat up it start whistling which means I had a leak in my flim. I got some film and cut it to fit applied it to the old wrapping and presto everything went back to normal. The nurse comes today and will replace the old with new wrappings.
It a chilly 40 degrees and the time is 6 AM .
Our fall colors are not very bright this year. I can't leave the place so all the colors I see is on the hill across the way.
The chickens are laying 8 eggs a day which is enough that I have surplus in the fridge all the time. I eat 2 poached eggs every morning because the nurse said the protein would promote wound healing. I will be glad when I can by pass breakfast because I never eat breakfast if I do what I want.
So that how my life goes , the wound and it healing is all there is for me because I can't even leave the house as long as I am on the machine. A medicare rule.

Glad to see an early post before I had to leave this morning...You don't have your regular wound girl today so I'm sure you will not get any useful news....maybe you can see with your mirror and tell how it is doing...It's friday again...I used to look foward to this day but not anymore...
ready for spring and winter has not even gotten here yet...My yard guy came yesterda. He mowed all of my new winter grass I will have to take a pic when the sun gets up....
Hope the wound is better. I love it when spring comes. Winter is not good for me. I think about trying to keep warm and not have big bills. We only have electric...also think if it goes off we will freeze. I hope someday I can move to the meadow...but it may be just a dream.
