There is sun shine today and I think it is going to be a nice day.
The chickens and flowers are Key West Florida wild chickens. This is what I wish we had today.
The little black hen still has all of her 3 babies. Poor girl.
The red hen will hatch soon and I have a pen ready for her.
Does anybody else notice a difference in generations and telephones? My daughter will not answer the phone unless she thinks it is a call that she feels might be important.
Last night I got a call from son's friend and he wanted to know where Kelly was. He said I have been calling all day and can't get him on the phone. This friend about 60 years old. nearer my age than sons. I didn't know what to say. I called other son as soon as he hung up and he told me Kelly didn't want to talk to this guy so he just didn't answer the phone. I always answer the phone . I can't help it but my kids are of a different mind set. Needless to say I get phone calls all the time from people wanting me to give one of my children a messages.
Kelly's friend said I hate to call him at work. I hope he does, Kelly probably would be willing to talk if it got him out of working.

We have caller id that pops on the tv if we have the tv on. We don't have it on in the day...but do in the evening usually...so we see who is calling. I always answer, but sometimes Larry does like Kell and chooses not to talk.
It is kind of funny that most everyone has a landline phone, a cell phone, e-mail as well as snail mail but some of us resist talking with others.
