People with blue eyes have a single, common ancestor, according to new research.
A team of scientists has tracked down a genetic mutation that leads to blue eyes. The mutation occurred between 6,000 and 10,000 years ago, so before then, there were no blue eyes.
"Originally, we all had brown eyes," said Hans Eiberg from the Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the University of Copenhagen.
I have had all the snow I want, in fact I didn't want what I got. The temperature is suppose to rise to 41 degrees today and most or all of the white stuff should be gone.
The debate last night was very civil between Clinton and Obama. They agreed on one thing. McCain was the man to beat. The news media is still trying to promote Obama , next wenesday we should have some idea as if he is as pouplar with the voters.
Since Obama has brown eyes I guess we are not related . Fleta has been trying to trace his family line in Kansas and prove he is related to some people who live in carroll co.
Maybe he is related to Helen's friend in Kansas who works on computers. The fellow who takes all his grandchildren riding on his 4 wheeler all at the same time. He tied 12 children on the 4 wheeler with bungy cords. Helen ask him what about the baby? he said , THe baby drove.

The debate hardly qualified as a debate, it was so cordial and "me too".
This is the way it happened. The Lord said ...the earth is filling up with too many folks for me to keep track of so I am going to mark the better ones...the way the farmer marks his pigs and he put out his hand and changed the eyes of the best of those on the earth to blue. We are there descendents.

What does this say about me - the only grandchild of Gertrude and Milton with "brown eyes" - I don't have a problem with claiming my Cherokee heritage also. I have one brown eyed child and one blue eye child-two brown eyed grand children and one blue eyed. I love them all!

So...you're my long lost sister??? hehe I have blue eyes and I read that article on MSN news yesterday. Wouldn't that be something if it was true!! We are getting more snow again today...I had to go behind the shed to throw stuff in the compost and the snow was up to my knees. Enough already!!!! xox
