This is a flock of golden coments. They are sex linked meaning when they hatch the males and females can be sexed at hatch by color. The males are white and the females are red. They have a New hampshire rooster for father and a Delaware hen for a mother.
These pullets lay brown eggs. The pullet weighs 4 pounds and they lay very well. I sometimes think I would like a flock like this. I am dreaming of spring and baby chicks.

Suddenly I had the flashback to my childhood when we had a huge chicken houses with lots of layers. They were everywhere in that big chicken house and seemed almost as big as me.
