the croped photo of the girl with peter pan collar is me and the boy is Richard, I remember dad asking Richard why he was standing like that? The next photo 46-47 is the year I broke my arm and stayed home for 3 months. i didn't do well in the coin school. everyone was related or had gone to school there since they started and some how I was always a outsider. I was glad when daddy got us tranfered to douglas School. We didn't get a copy of this photo. no money.

How did you break your arm? Aren't you so cute in the photo.
It is nice to see old school pictures. I know I take out mine from 1944, one room country school, and realize the 23 kids in it in all 8 grades are not all with us these days. Time marches on.
I did enjoy your blog and this post.
The clothes the children are wearing speak volumes about the economic times.
