The vote and ice

Virginal –Obama 64% McCain 50%
Clinton 35% Huckabee 42%
Maryland Obama 75 % McCain 55%
Clinton 24% Huckabee 30%
DC Obama 75% McCain 68%
Clinton 25% Huckabee 17%
Total delegates Obama 1078 Clinton 989
Hillary must win in Texas, Ohio and Pennivania if she remains in the race. Wesconson has their primary next week I think but I have read probably Obama will win in the butter state.
It is 16 degrees here and supposes to get to 43 degrees. Maybe we will shed our Ice coat.
Annie recognized that “the it” in what is it photo was ice on chicken wire. I cover the top of my chicken pens and it was covered with ice.
It looks like Obana is going to be the democrat candidate and McCain that other party’s candidate.
I have been thinking about Hillary Clinton's race for the white house and this is what I have decided...
First it is "a mans" world!
Second, too much attention is placed on Clinton's cloths. What color is her "pants suit?" No one ever mentions Obama's clothing or refers to his as pants suits.
They ask Clinton yesterday if she was elected could she be sure there would be no scandals about Bill, meaning sexual scandals. She assured the questioners that there would be on scandals. I though that this was a big promise unless she has him neutered.
Then it is said she cried or she didn't cry. She has her voting record about Iraq to contend with. Never mind at the start of the war anyone who dared raise a voice in protest was labeled as Trader to our country.
In short Hillary Clinton is a woman trying to move up and the heavy hand of MEN are determined to put her in her place.
Remember when she was first lady and the cookie receipt thing was brought up. It was plain that she wasn't a cook and how dare a married woman not be a home body.
Did you ever notice when both spouses work if the house work is not done as it should be is always the female's fault. If a man lives alone and his dwelling is messy that is just a man thing.

Yippee for me; I recognized the ice on chicken wire.

And yippee for Obama who has now swept the last six primaries.

And even though it is true that it's a man's world and women still have a ways to go to be treated with full appreciation and respect, it is also a white man's world and black men have a ways to go to be treated with full appreciation and respect too. So, if this race were a white man pitted against a white woman and she was losing, I'd come to some of the same conclusions you wrote about, Patsy. But since it's a white woman running against a black man, I think there's something else in the mix. Some things, maybe, about style and baggage and. yes, even substance.

I do hope it warms up for you. It's time for Spring.

White males in the US would rather be led by any man than a woman.
