very little snow

The forecasters were yelling last night big snow coming,we only got a dusting of snow and I am happy. They are saying 50% Chance of snow before noon but I think they are just blowing hot air again.
On ky3 I saw a photo sent in by some one at Harrison with a lot of snow but perhaps I can get Betty at Harrison to tell me if this was true.
I always feel that we wont get a big snow after march 10. Fleta ask me what I based this opinion on. I told her 70 years of experience and being more intelligent than she is.
I told this story to my health nurse yesterday and this 30 year old woman told me she remembers a Hugh snow falling on march 17th one year. I don't remember this and after she had gone home I thought yeah but she didn't say where she was living at that time!
As you know I am sick and tired of ice and snow.
I have two good books left by Margaret Maron so maybe that will get me to Monday.
I have 3 hens on eggs so by the last of March I should have a few baby chicks, then I have to decide where to put the chicks and the mothers.

Well, the snow came my way again. no school, but no electricity since 10 last night and we are all electric. Eric took his family to his room at school...we just put on lots of clothes and froze to death. It came back on about noon today. It was 50 degrees inside when it came back on. now, i have it up to 54 degrees. I am wearing an old pair of Larry long handles and jogging pants and 2 shirts and a hoodie...brrrr

We probably go 8 to 10 inches of snow.

It's 1:00 Friday in Little Rock and the snow is starting to stick to the groud and streets now. The temperatures are falling below freezing. I'm tucked safely inside with my knitting and some good books.

Harrison got about 3-4 inches of snow, but the streets and sidewalks were just wet by this morning. It was so pretty. Your health nurse is right. We had a huge snow on March 17 one year, maybe 10-12 years ago? It caught us all by surprise, and melted fast.
