Spring

My son Sammy mowed the yard yesterday and cleaned up the junk I had piled in the yard.
My tulips are still pretty. My wound is putting out a lot of bloody fluid. The nurse came yesterday and brought me new supplies I was gratefull to her.It has been cool here and everything is just standing still in the growing stage.
I have more books from the library . I read 2 yesterday. I can read and forget everything else as long as I have a good book.
The sun is out and shinning brightly. It is suppose to get up to 70 degrees today.I talked to son and he promised to get me 2 old tires from my brother Gilbert so I can have tomato plants growing by the middle of May. I am sure brother will send me 2 nice large tires. He should have plenty since he fixes flats at his shop.

Your tulips are sure pretty! When Tina was little I had to take her to this certain house every spring to see their tulips.

My tulips are behind yours and just coming out!

I totally agree with you about having a book to read. You can block out everything in the world whilst engrossed in a book.

I love your three plants onions - you are so funny. The birds pull mine out up the allotment.

I haven't put mine in yet - I must get a move one - you are ahead of me.

Get your son to save a few tyres for me will you? I haven't ever grown tomatoes that way - but I can see that it would be brilliant. The black rubber storing up all that heat. I am going to be watching now how they grow.

I am glad the helper is still coming to check on you. Also, glad that Helen is over one hump.
