It is memorial day and true to form It rained here this morning. When the children were home we liked to go to the lake and play in the water. I noticed that we usually had rain on memorial day .
I bought cracked corn the other day and it was 15.75 a hundred pounds that is a increase of 5 dollars over last year. the gas price is pushing all food prices thro' the ceiling.
My chickens are doing good but if they all live I will have to do some cost cutting measures this fall.

i paid 10.00 for 50 pds of whole corn...so you are getting it cheaper than me.
I got 8 eggs yesterday. I have about 10 hens trying to sit.
