Hardiness Zones: 4 to 9
Height: 36 in Spread: 30 in
Type: herbaceous perennial
Flowers: Blue, pink, purple, red, white
Comments: Spiderworts produce flowers over a long period
of time. They prefer a moist soil with average fertility.
Soil too damp, or too rich, causes plants to flop over.
The plant grows in sun or partial shade but prefers
partial shade. After flowering they may be cut back to
promote new foliage and possible re-flowering in early
autumn. Plants finished flowering may create a poor
appearance.
Propagation: Propagation is by division in the spring.so you dig the plant up and devide it in the spring!

Is this a wild flower...I thought what I saw by the road was a wild flower. Am I right or is it a tame one like my English rose.
Thanks for giving me a name for a plant I've seen everywhere I've lived! Caron
