I have some corn that came up in my chicken pen where I had feed the chickens. Corn is getting so high priced I might let it put on ears and harvest.
This is a Rhode Island red rooster my hen hatched in December. If I am around when the sexlink start to lay I might cross the RIR rooster with the hens and hatch a few chicks. I am sure I will have setting hens that is all my bantams do is set.
I have seen a few green beans on my vines and the tomatoes are putting out fruit.

I have found a mill here where the corn is 7.50 per 50 pounds...cheaper than what I am paying, Larry said it was probably trashy but the chickens will not care.
