July is going

A thunder storm rolled over here last night and we got a little rain.I tried to call my niece last evening to come and get her beans but she wasn't home will try again this morning. I went down and checked the apples but they are still green.
I boiled a few and made a pint of apple petrin . I am going to try making some jell with it when I decide what kind.
The tomatoes are ripening great guns I put a few bags in the freezer for soup this winter.
Kelly came by and brought me a few ears of corn. The rooster is crowing .

I love to hear a rooster crowing in the morning. Used to just love that when I was on the farm. I made yellow tomato and red tomato preserves when we had a garden besides making tomato juice and canned tomatoes. Love the butterfly picture.
