Morning work

I went back into the brooder and moved the little yellow bantam chick into a wire cage in side the main chicken pen, she walks the pen trying to get out and the two roosters are trying to get in but I am sure things will settle down after a time.
I put a lot of fly crumbs in the mess in the pen so I could get rid of the flies swarming in the mess in the brooder.
This is my gladiolus in the edge of the garden. They are trying to fall over because of all of the rain. Charlotte Powell told me her grandma called the gladiolus "the falling down flower" because they always broke over.
I am out of reading material and my daughter told me should would take me to get more books today.

I have been reading a lot. We sisters all enjoy reading. I love you, Sister. I am glad you got the chicks out of the brooder. I know it was hard, nasty work.
