bbrr.. winter coming

My world is changing soon. The temperature was a chilly 39 degrees at 6 O'clock and will drop more before the sun comes to life in my eastern sky. Winter is my least favorite season but I will have to adjust to no flowers and green trees soon.
My chickens are laying 10 eggs a day there were 2 dark brown eggs in my nest last night again.
I think my wound is going to heal over. I don't have any idea what will happen next. will it break out a new with a opening. I have decided to just let nature take it's course and see. If I die so be it anyway would be great not to have a running hole in my belly for a while. I have had this wound for 14 months.

Hi Patsy, I hate winter, too. Sounds like you can do a lot of baking with all those eggs. I made a carrot cake yesterday. I so hope your wound gets completely healed and stays healed. I am sure it has been terrible to have to deal with it for 14 months. Sometimes, nature is smarter than any doctor. Have a good weekend.

That is great news about your belly.

Go out a pick those flowers and dry them so we can have seeds for next spring.

Its so darn hot here all the cotton pickin time...even in the winter...well it is not consistant...hot/cold all the time. I wish we could have some good cold for a while to kill off all the bugs....its good for everything. That belly has been a pain. I wish I could nurse it....I'd get it better for you!
